Review by The Bro Force Squad ★★★★ 2
I had a blast with this and I'm not going to apologize to anyone.
LIfetime knows the cord to strike with a lot of these movies, and while they don't all work, for me this one did. Visually it looks very sharp and has badass sound mixing. The performances are competent enough, and fall on their face at the right moments. I appreciate the swings it takes in the third acts when it falls off the rails. Chefs kiss Lifetime.
To hear about a time we also took shots of warm vodka in a gazebo at our Senior Prom, head on over to broforcesquad.com.

Review by Adam Loves Bad Movies ★★
This stars two actors whose stage names (I hope) are the fantastically porny sounding Karen Cliche and Jamie Champagne.
💦🍾Jamie Champagne🍾💦
This was hilarious for all the reasons you watch weird bad TV movies, because it’s earnestly trying to be a weird teen thriller thing and that’s just goddamn fantastic to watch crash and burn like a fucking meteorite behind a shitaurorobororealis that explodes and kills everything for a few thousand shitty years.
Anyway, abduct me on prom night once, shame on you. Abduct me on prom night twice? Stop going to proms.

This is pretty silly stuff. It's so clumsy that part of it is enjoyable to make fun of.
A group of high school kids are kidnapped on their way to the prom. The kidnappers want something from one of the girls father.
It's typical "Lifetime" stuff. Things only make sense because the script says so. For example: Prom night is a dance that can happen anywhere from March to May. How come all the leaves on the trees are changing colors?
Also some of the lines are really bad. Like when one of the kidnapped girls wants to get to a phone and call for help. She says, "Let's call someone for help...like the police or a parental figure!" Who talks like that? Certainly not modern day teens.
The twists you can see coming miles away. Watch this only to make fun of it.
